The Nisis Pocket DV4 camera is a
Digital Camcorder, Digital Still Camera, Web Cam, Voice
Recorder, MP3 Player and USB portable disc. It measures
only 4.2" x 2.7" x 1.6" but packs an incredible number
of features, such as a 2 megapixels image sensor, SD/MMC
card slot to accept cards of up to 256MB (not included),
1.5" colour TFT LCD display,16MB of built in Flash
memory and much more.
You can view your recorded movies and
still photographs on your television, if your tv has A/V
inputs, and you can also upload them to your computer
where you can edit and send them to your friends on the
Internet.
The Pocket DV4 camera comes with a
mini tripod, a carrying strap, A/V leads, a USB cable,
rechargeable batteries, a mains battery charger,
earphones, soft carrying bag and an installation CD that
includes useful applications to help you create
professional looking movies and still photographs.
The Pocket DV4 camera offers the
ability to enhance the resolution of still photographs
to 2048 x 1536 pixels (3 Megapixels) and 2272 x 1704
pixels (4 Megapixels) using a technique known as
firmware interpolation. This enables you to print
enlargements of your favourite photographs and maintain
picture sharpness up to paper sizes in excess of A4 size
With the video
functionality sorted, it's clear there's been a lot of
focus (ahem, excuse the pun) on the DV4's stills
functionality. A built-in flash and 4x digital zoom are
functions often missing from basic digital cameras and
yet somehow they've been shoehorned into the DV4's
jaw-dropping spec.
But wait, there's more!
As if the above weren't enough, the Aiptek engineers got
quite carried away and included voice recorder and MP3
player functionality. AND, with the addition of an SD
Card, the DV4 can be used as a removeable Hard Drive.
Pretty amazing, we think you'll agree.
Just because there's
five gadget's worth of functionality crammed into the
DV4 doesn't mean it's piled on the flab. Oh no. It's
just as svelte as previous offerings, but gives you so
much more tech per pound. Why carry five gadgets around
with you when the DV4 can do everything so damn
proficiently?
