You can use the Nokia Cellular Data Suite to send and receive faxes, files and e-mail. And you can access the Internet and your office information system when you are out of the office.

It’s an integratable PC Card with speech capability - and it weighs only 58 grams. The Nokia Cardphone is an independent unit - just plug it into the PC slot to fax, transmit, download, speak and surf. The Nokia Cardphone is a PC Card with its own antenna. All you need is an interface, a suitable laptop PC, a subnotebook or other device with a PC card type II slot provided with sufficient power supply, and Windows 95/98 or NT.

The Nokia Cardphone is a phone and a modem. It plugs into the PC card slot, turning a laptop PC into a mobile office - with no cables or adapters. Send and receive faxes and e-mail. Connect to your office information system and download files. Make a call and discuss the file you are reading from the screen. The Nokia Cardphone supports data, fax, SMS messaging and voice over GSM networks. It works with Windows 95 applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, and with communications applications such as MS Mail, WinFax PRO and ProComm Plus.

The Nokia Cardphone package consists of a transceiver card, four installation diskettes and a protective carrying case. The transceiver card is an autonomous cellular transceiver with an external control interface and a SIM card reader. In a laptop and notebook PC the user interface is Windows 95.
